Very interesting big with an upside potential that after some amazing seasons at Canadian University with St. Francis’ Xavier (averages 18 points, 13 rebounds and 2 blocks as a senior per game), began his rookie season in LEB Gold with GBC. Halfway through the year he joined Círculo Gijón, where he had some good games but did not finish deploying his game due to the fact that in his team the weight of the inside players was mostly to block, intimidate and rebounding, being all the weight with the ball the work of the outside players. Despite of this, Roker managed to average in Gijón 5 points and 6 rebounds in just 19 minutes per game, figures that certainly do not show nearly his full potential.

In his style, Roker excels as a shot-blocker and finisher (he plays above the rim usually), he’s a real physical and athletic beast when he’s in rhythm and he’s also developing his shot and already shoots reliably at 5-6 meters. He has great rebounding ability, and with his 2.00 meters he can play equally well as a 4 and as a 5. He’s a good screener (creates space for his teammates) and an outstanding offensive rebounder. If he finishes developing his shot and reaches the physical level of College, he can be a dominant player because of his above-average to play over the rim and his above-average physical ability.
