Bulgarian big who counts as a Local Formation Player (JFL) in France and as a national player in both Malaysia and the ASEAN League derived from his multiple roots, since he was born in the Asian country and developed his first years of basketball training in between Poitiers and Vichy in the European country. After that, Lepichev went to the United States, where he first enrolled in the Kankakee Junior College to end up playing his last two years of American adventure at Florida Atlantic University (NCAA). In his senior year in the NCAA D1, Lepichev averaged more than 5 points and 5 rebounds per game, good numbers that drew attention in his native Malaysia, making his professional debut in the powerful ASEAN League, a league with former NBA players where Lepichev averaged figures of 11 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists and almost 2 blocks per game. After the suspension from the league and joining our agency, the Bulgarian player joined Liberbank Oviedo (LEB Oro) in the preseason of the 2020-21 season, being able to be fit to sign at the beginning of the season for Basket Navarra (LEB Plata), achieving in one of the best teams in the competition and averaging more than 10 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and a block for more than a PIR of 12 in an average of 25 minutes per game. After there, he played in France for Les Sables (NM1), and last season he has emerged as one of the top players of the Bulgarian league, where he reached the finals with Chernomorets Burgas, showing himself as a player ready to the big leagues.

On his game, he stands out especially for his size, intelligence and versatility. Amazing player in the Pick&Roll/Pop situations and playing above the rim. Very fast roll. Also good in the short roll, where he shows a great court vision being able to organize the game with no problem from high post, to which he adds a very interesting ability to attack the rim from the dribble and even to play low post situations when he plays as a 4. He is shooting every time a higher volume and better from the 3-pt range (32% in Bulgaria), and he’s an excellent rebounder in both sides of the court. On defense, he’s a very interesting player, as he’s mobile, athletic and quick while being physical and capable of defending 5s due to size and body. Honestly, he is a profile with potential to reach the high level leagues, who takes better decisions each season (lowering the number of turnovers) and who continue working on his shot, but with the right role and prominence, he can give from the beginning a more than good level in high level leagues because there is no doubt that he has physical, technical and tactical level for it.
